NuPak Medical's NuKast division now offers rapid prototyping and production services in either metal or plastic materials. This process is perfect for prototyping new designs, as lead times and costs are a small fraction of machining or aluminum injection molds.

Rapid Prototyping / Production Service

Rapid reproductions of your models in metal of plastic (rigid or flexible). Lead times measured in days, not weeks.

Parts produced from this process feel, look, finish, plate, and perform practically identical to conventional zinc die castings and plastic injection molded components.

Applications include market testing, prototyping, first builds, concept design and design fit and function testing.

Typically half the cost and a third of the time of either aluminum injection molds or CNC-Machined parts.

Models can be SLA, SLS, Plastic, Metal, Wood, or even glued together bits and pieces.

Models may have cores, inserts and undercuts.
